We have another busy and exciting year ahead!
The Core Years 3 and 4 classes will begin the year by looking at electricity, especially alternative power sources. We will be experimenting, researching, reporting and creating!
The Year 5 group will take part in activities that encourage "out of the box" thinking and looking for a variety of solutions to a problem. They will then be involved in a science challenge, experimenting, observing and drawing conclusions.
The Core Year 6 group will be busy investigating problems set by the Future Problem Solving Programme. The first topic for 2013 being "The Culture of Celebrity." (For more information visit fpsnz.co.nz).
The philosophy groups will continue to discuss big questions, such as "belonging" and "happiness."
